Morocco, Spain, and the Radamor

I've been listening to this for writing inspiration. One of the things that I love about the series I am writing is the diverse cultures I get to create. I research Morocco and Arabia and Spain and Ethiopia and other countries and take from their history and traditions to create a new culture by mixing them together with my own ideas. Mel'tar is such a huge world, and I love exploring its corners. Or creating its corners. However you like it.

And then there are the moments like this morning, as I'm running up the stairs, thinking about a character I used to write about...and then remember with a shock that I'm STILL writing about them. They're just half a world away from the characters I am currently writing about. The Radamor desert is such a contrast to the human kingdom of Avar.
